He interned as a stockbroker at Morgan Stanley and decided that if there was any way he could combine the rush of the trade with his interest in helping people he would find his ideal career. He found out about Northwestern Mutual through his school career center and was immediately impressed by the quality of products, the competitive environment and the opportunity to define your own level of success. Carl feels most privileged to belong in a leadership position because he feels his opinions are heard and worked with. “It is in leadership where I feel I can help develop ideas that I can see implemented in our office.” With the added responsibility of mentoring young reps, Carl finds his Field Director position helps him become more efficient and effective with his time. Eugene Shkolnikov, CLTCField Director Eugene is known in this business primarily for the work he has done in the Russian markets. Eugene became interested in leadership opportunities because of his enthusiasm for the career. “As a representative I have a level of freedom, and I am on the same level with my typical clientele. In the field director role, I like helping the guys I’ve brought into the career. We work through cases together and I enjoy seeing them succeed.” David Rossett, CLU®, ChFC®, CFP®Field Director David started a financial services career because of the impact he would be able to have on people. After graduating from Stony Brook University with a degree in Psychology, he felt the most satisfaction he would get from a career would be one where he could empower others to realize their goals. David has never regretted his choice.
